A good part of my work happens north of San Francisco, in Marin, Sonoma and Napa.
Those weddings are usually weekends rather than single evenings, at an estate or a vineyard, and often with family arriving from a long way away. My approach is documentary with an editorial finish, which mostly means I am watching rather than directing.
Knowing the venues well enough means I can be in the right place without asking anyone to move.
I grew up in Paris and built my photography career in California. Today I work between both, photographing weddings across the Bay Area and destinations in France, Italy, and the UK.
My approach is documentary with an editorial finish. I photograph what actually happens on your day, with attention to light, composition, and the quiet moments between the planned ones. The goal is images that feel like you, not like a wedding shoot.

Where I photograph in the Bay Area
The Bay Area is unusually varied for a single region. City weddings, coastal celebrations, wine country weekends, and redwood forests can all happen within a short drive. My work covers:
Marin and the coast. Sausalito, Point Reyes, Stinson, and coastal estates. These locations reward couples who plan realistically around light and fog.
Sonoma, Napa, and wine country. Multi-day weekends, vineyard venues, and estate celebrations. Pacing matters here. I help structure a timeline that gives the weekend room to breathe.
The East Bay and Peninsula. Oakland, Berkeley, and venues south of the city. Less predictable light, more logistical range.
Northern California beyond the Bay. Mendocino, Big Sur, the redwoods, and wine country extensions. I also photograph elopements and small weddings across the region.
How I work
I photograph one wedding at a time and plan each one in full. That includes timeline input, light planning, and working directly with your planner if you have one.
On the day, I move quietly. I step in for portraits and family photos, then step back. The best images tend to happen when couples stop thinking about the camera.
Coverage starts at $6,000. Destination weddings are quoted separately.
Being based in two cities changes how I work. I travel frequently, I’m comfortable with bilingual families, and I photograph weddings that blend cultures without making it feel complicated.
